Splitip is available as both a web app and mobile app, built with privacy as a core principle. Your financial information stays yours alone.
How We Protect Your Privacy
We don't store your data in databases, track your activity with analytics, require accounts or login, or integrate with any third-party services. All calculations happen on your device. When you share a link, the bill information is encoded in the URL itself and shared directly with your group. Nothing is stored on our servers. You decide what information to share and who receives your links. Payment contact info (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal) is completely optional.
Mobile App
The Splitip mobile app includes a bill history feature for your convenience. All bill history is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to our servers. You can delete your history at any time from within the app.
Children's Privacy
Splitip is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
